Stell dir vor, du drehst das Haus um – alles was herausfallen würde, ist dein Hausrat. Geschirr, Vasen, Kleider, Schränke, Fernseher, etc. Es gibt allerdings Kleinigkeiten, die zu beachten sind zum Beispiel Einbauküchen, die in unserem Fall jedoch eher irrelevant sind.

Bei möblierten Mietwohnungen kann der Mieter also nur Dinge versichern, die er mit in die Wohnung eingebracht hat. In unserem Fall also nur seinen Koffer oder seine Reisetasche.

Wie versichert man nun richtig??

In dem Falle der möblierten Wohnungen sollten die Vermieter die Hausratversicherung abschließen, da explizit der eigene Hausrat in der Wohnung ist. Positiv ist hier, dass die Beiträge in der monatlichen Pauschalmiete berücksichtigt werden können.

Natürlich kann man auch auf eine Hausratversicherung verzichten – allerdings nur wenn man seine Einrichtung im Schadenfall problemlos aus dem Ersparten ersetzen könnte.
